A snapshot of what I'm up to currently — inspired by Eric Sivers' /now movement.

The Overview
Started S9 of Suits. It didn't take long for me to get through it, despite it being 9 seasons long and 45 minutes a piece. I'm not sure what's on bat, but I've been meaning to rewatch Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, or maybe start Parks & Recreation.
Exploring website development. I've made a couple basic websites in HTML and CSS before, but after getting my hands dirty with Forage and figuring out the architecture for Perch, I wanted to see how I could expand on my CSS and JS knowledge and build cool websites in code.
Designing Perch. I've been working on some preliminary designs now that I've mapped out the idea, then I'll present it for some user testing.
Playing Sudoku. I've now got a personal best of 3:24 on sudoku.com's "Extreme" mode.
Working on passion projects for Tideworks Studio. I've got some fun projects on the docket, between a clothing brand, a creative coworking space, and an inn.
Gathering ideas for Anchor & Compass. Before launching it, I'm batching ideas and formats to write articles in advance. It's a newsletter first and foremost, but it will also act as a content arm of Tideworks Studio.
Making a /now page! This is my first one of these. I'm making it to share more about me at a glimpse than a polished portfolio could. I'm a firm believer that humans and brands alike show their true colors when things aren't perfect, when they're a little unorganized. It's why I started in branding, and it rings true in my personal life too.
Things I'm Excited About
Next week, I'm going on a trip back home to Minnesota for a week. I'm excited to see some old friends, share more adventures with my partner, and get a piece of the nostalgia.
I have a consultation for a sleep study coming up. It's a step towards bettering my health.
